At Apogee Henderson, our young leaders learn in collaborative pods with multi-age learners. Our flexible approach challenges each young leader with their own differentiated learning plan and inspires them through real-world projects and experiences.

SCHEDULE
We are in session Monday through Friday,
Drop off starts- 8:30am
Program Start- 9am
Pickup- 3:00pm
We operate on an 11 month schedule from August-June.
SIX BUCKETS OF THE DAY
1. CORE ACADEMIC SKILLS
Master the foundations of reading,
writing, and math
2. HANDS ON PROJECTS
Master the skills needed to solve
real-world problems.
3. SOCRATIC DISCUSSIONS
Socratic discussions hone critical thinking and speaking abilities
4. OUTDOOR FREE PLAY
Free play is crucial for children's development as it fosters creativity, independence, and problem solving skills.
5. REAL PHYSICAL FITNESS
Real physical fitness, every day, to build strong bodies and strong minds.
6. JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On campus for our younger leaders and the option for off campus internships and apprenticeships for our older leaders.

HOW IS APOGEE HENDERSON DIFFERENT?
Self-paced learning environment designed to foster responsibility, goal-setting, and teamwork
Real life skills by launching a business, playing an instrument, painting a mosaic, or programming a robot
Coaches not teachers offer insightful questions and use the Socratic method to hone childrens' critical thinking
Children Lead and own their education; thinking independently, taking responsibility and embracing challenges
Holistic development focused on personal virtues such as honesty, hard work, responsibility, kindness and empathy
Learning fairs and goal setting/tracking instead of grades and tests to showcase learning.
