EDUCATION.
ON PURPOSE.
At Apogee Henderson, our young leaders learn in collaborative multi-age pods . Our flexible approach challenges each young leader with their own differentiated learning plan and inspires them through real-world projects and experiences.
Our child-centered community puts young leaders at the center of their learning, allowing them to create and maintain personal goals and pod contracts.
SCHEDULE
We are in session Monday through Friday,
Drop off- 8:30am-9:00am
Program Starts- 9:00am
Pickup- 3:00pm
We operate on an 11 month schedule from August-June.
We also offer a part-time schedule 3 days a week.
SIX BUCKETS OF THE DAY
1. Golden Hour
Master the foundations of reading,
writing, and math
2. HANDS ON PROJECTS
Master the skills needed to solve
real-world problems.
3. CRITICAL THINKING DISCUSSIONS
Question driven discussions hone critical thinking and speaking abilities
4. OUTDOOR FREE PLAY
Free play is crucial for children's development as it fosters creativity, independence, and problem solving skills.
5. REAL PHYSICAL FITNESS
Real physical fitness, every day, to build strong bodies and strong minds.
6. JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On campus for our younger leaders and the option for off campus internships and apprenticeships for our older leaders.
