Genessa was born in San Diego and raised here in Las Vegas. She is a proud graduate of Del Sol Academy where she played volleyball and stayed active in several extracurriculars. She went on to study Secondary Education at Nevada State University and has been working in the childcare field since 2019.

Over the years, Genessa had the opportunity to work as a preschool teacher, behavioral aide, and classroom attendant, supporting children from as young as 2 months old to 12 years old. These experiences have deepened her understanding of early childhood development and taught her the importance of nurturing young emotions and building meaningful connections. Since 2019, she has also coached high school and club volleyball, which has helped her refine her coaching skills, especially when it comes to breaking down complex skills into manageable steps.

Outside of work, Genessa loves being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, walking trails, or playing volleyball. She also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family and trying new things together.
